A Euro American Auto & Tire Center

Out of the numerous shops in Astoria this one is a true gem. When I needed a serious shock/suspension job done these guys took honest care in making sure I got the genuine parts and the job done right from the jump at an extremely good price. They detail all costs thoroughly on the invoice, they walked me through the whole process from start to finish and they made me feel like a family member while doing an amazing job. Laz and the whole crew are honest, straight forward and just great mechanics I never expected to find in a sea full of nonsense in the LIC/Astoria area. I highly recommend them as they will be my auto repair family for as long as I live in NYC hands down.

I brought my car in for a heater issue that was blowing cold air. I was initially told it was the blend door actuator, which I agreed to replace. After picking up the car, I had to return the very next day because it still wasn’t blowing hot air. At that point, I was told the system was getting stuck on cold and it was adjusted. I then had to return a third time because the heat was inconsistent depending on the vents — it would only blow warm air from the upper vents, while the lower vents remained cold. I was told this was “normal,” even though it clearly wasn’t functioning properly. Two months later, the issue has returned completely. The heater is now blowing cold air again, along with a whistling noise from the vents. What was most frustrating was not just the unresolved issue, but the lack of thorough diagnosis and communication. I had to repeatedly question whether proper troubleshooting steps were taken before parts were replaced. I understand that diagnosing car issues can be complex, but I expected a more complete and accurate resolution, especially after multiple visits and paying for repairs. Unfortunately, this experience felt like trial-and-error rather than a cl

So glad I started going to A Euro - Laz and his crew are the best in town. After negative experiences with several other shops in Astoria, A Euro is a game changer. They are always honest and straightforward with pricing and the work is always super fast and professional. I’ve had Laz work on 2 of my cars now and have referred them to a couple of friends who are also thrilled. Can’t recommend highly enough.

I’ve used their services four times — for oil change, catalytic converter theft repairs (twice), and a tire issue — and every experience has been great. The team is consistently professional, honest, and respectful. They truly care about their customers and are always responsive and patient. I would 100% recommend!
